(18% gratuity added at checkout under "taxes & fees") A consummate musician, clinician, and educator, Nate Winn discovered his passion for the drums in church, at the age of 4, and has performed with numerous artists and educators around the world. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, music has always been a central component of Nate’s life. Along with his Gospel upbringing, his style is also influenced by Jazz, Blues, and R&B. He has a Bachelor's degree in music from Wayne State University, and a Master’s degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts as a student in the Global Jazz Institute. He is currently a professor at the University of Michigan with the concentration being in jazz percussion. Nate makes it a priority to always keep a humble spirit, and never take for granted any chance he gets to use music has an outlet of expression.
